OUR VISION
Welcome to our new pearl Villa Zafarraya, a well-kept secret at the foot of the majestic Zafarraya gorge.
Based on our belief that wheelchair users have just as much right to a wonderful holiday as everyone else, we purchased this villa in a magical place.
It will be extensively renovated between September '23 and March '24 to make it fully wheelchair accessible inside and out.
It is our ambition to let you stay in the most beautiful wheelchair-friendly boutique villa in the world! Villa Zafarraya focuses on wheelchair users or people who have difficulty walking and therefore we guarantee a barrier-free stay.
We have had dozens of conversations with people who use a wheelchair to hear from them what possible bottlenecks could be on their holiday.
Only after we had mapped out their extensive wish lists did the major renovation begin to fully tailor the villa to the requirements and wishes of wheelchair users and other people for whom thresholds and height differences could pose an obstacle.
We realize that a nice holiday depends on a few factors:
- the availability of adapted transport
- the presence of necessary aids in and around the villa
- the possibility of possible care on site
- suggestions for small and large wheelchair accessible trips in the area.

VILLA ZAFARRAYA AS A HOLIDAY HOME
You are very welcome in our new pearl Villa Zafarraya. A place that you only encounter a few times in your life and where you feel like a privileged person when you leave the villa in the morning and are immediately surrounded by nature.
The Zafarraya Gorge is the natural gateway to the province of Malaga. The area around the gorge is special, particularly beautiful, and has its own character. Nature takes over and you imagine yourself in another world, a world where you are a guest for the duration of your holiday and where you will make unforgettable memories.
As soon as you enter the majestic driveway of Villa Zafarraya, you come home to your own paradise. Enjoy the peace and quiet in the spacious garden, between the olive trees that seem to have crept away from the adjacent olive grove. While you relax by your own private swimming pool, you have a majestic view in all directions and you can see the rock formations of the Zafarraya gorge in all their glory.
The villa itself is made with the best Andalusian materials and will be extensively renovated and completely adapted in the coming months. To make it fully wheelchair accessible both inside and outside. The modern and bright interior is perfectly balanced with the authentic architecture of the villa and makes it a stylish and atmospheric whole. Inside and outside fit seamlessly and without barriers and the combination with the beautiful and inspiring surroundings immediately gives everyone a wonderful holiday feeling.
Villa Zafarraya is the ideal place for couples, a family or group of friends, one of whom is a wheelchair user or has difficulty walking.
There is plenty of room for everyone to do what feels most like a holiday: read a nice book, enjoy the pool, an extensive meal together or simply dream away in the sun. Outdoor fun is assured by the available Green Egg Style BBQ, table tennis table, dart board -at two heights- and pool games.

All the beds are made upon arrival and the house is completely ready for you, so that you can immediately enjoy your new home.
EXTRA CARE IN THE VILLA
If desired, personal, tailor-made care during your stay is possible at an additional cost. We work together with The Care Company whose qualified employees speak fluent English.
Prior to your stay, they can draw up a care plan completely tailored to your holiday and coordinate the times and activities with you.
